  • Refer to yourself as a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator

I have been a Prepare/Enrich facilitator for over 4 years now. I view premarital counseling as a great resource for strengthening the foundation of relationships so that couples can continue to build upon their experiences for years to come. By fortifying the relationship couples not only strengthen it for today's modern challenges but also create metaphorical insurance for future trials that they may face. I firmly value and affirm the unique differences that exist within relationships.

I hope by attending this virtual training, you will gain the resources and skills required to provide your clients with this therapeutic modality as well. This training is ideal for counselors, social workers, psychologists, and graduate student interns in the mental health field who are seeking to deepen their ability to work with premarital and pre-commitment couples. Due to the curriculum’s structured approach and informative couples assessment, this is an ideal couples work modality for individuals who are newer to couples work.

I aim to provide participants with the unique advantage of learning how to facilitate the Prepare/Enrich assessment and subsequent feedback from a secular lens. As a clinician, I embrace working with couples of all sexual orientations and relationship structures. I firmly value and affirm the unique differences that exist within relationships. I am affirming of kink, consensual nonmonogamy, neurodiverse, and LGBTQIA+ relationships, and I will incorporate these values throughout the workshop.
